Father accused of killing hemophiliac child

A tragic incident has come to light from Udham Singh Nagar district where a man is accused of murdering his three and half years old son. The man from Kichha allegedly killed his son and dumped the body in bushes along a canal on Bareilly Road. When the child was reported missing, the local police began searching for him and zeroed in on the father- Tariq Malick on the basis of CCTV camera footage. On being questioned by the police, the suspect said that his son was afflicted with hemophilia and the treatment for it was quite expensive. The man was in financial troubles and under debt. On the morning of February 15, he reportedly went out with his son and allegedly strangled him before throwing the body among bushes along a canal. He then lodged a missing person complaint with the police later that night. The police found clues in their investigation which led them to him. The superintendent of police (City) Mamta Bohra said that the man had allegedly killed his son because he was unable to get him treated for hemophilia due to which he was under rising debt.
