Command & control system of education to come up in U’khand- Rawat

The Education minister of Uttarakhand Dhan Singh Rawat has said that a central command and control system for effective monitoring of education and related activities would be soon set up in Uttarakhand. He made this declaration during his presentation in the national convention of education ministers of the country in Gujarat on Thursday. He said that the state government is taking major decisions to improve the education system. Rawat said that school management, learning management and ERP would be developed for the command and control system so that all information is brought on one platform in digital format. The minister informed that work on war scale is going on in the state for implementation of the National Education Policy- 2020 and it would be implemented in the state in July this year. The minister also informed about the plans to incorporate changes in curriculum in the state. He said that vocational courses are being undertaken in 200 schools of the state and this year these courses would start in 200 new schools. The minister said that the plans of the state government of education were appreciated by union cabinet minister Dharmendra Pradhan and education ministers of other states.
