Atulya’s two books released in Dehradun

Two books by writer Nisha Atulya, titled Mayra: Short Stories and Atulya Doha Sansar, were released at the auditorium of Hindi Bhawan on Friday. The event featured several notable attendees, including the chief guest, vice chancellor of Doon University Surekha Dangwal and chairperson of the Uttarakhand State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) Geeta Khanna.
During the event, Dangwal remarked on the striking similarities between Nisha Atulya’s poetry and her demeanour. She emphasised that a harmonious family environment positively influences each generation, strengthening our civilisation to stand firm against Western influences.
Khanna added, “Mayra: Short Stories reflect the realities of contemporary life and highlight the crucial role of joint families in the development of children, which is vital for their growth.”
Programme coordinator Atul Kumar Gupta said that one of Nisha Atulya’s previous works, Prasad, has been written using the newly developed 13 and 11 Matras, while her second book, Parth, explores the expansion of Panchpadi.
