The birth anniversary of the revered Maharaja Daksha Prajapati was celebrated at Nirmal Santpura, Kankhal in Haridwar under the aegis of Daksha Prajapati Samiti, Haridwar. The mahamandaleshwar Ram Muni was the chief guest. On this occasion, 75 students of Prajapati community were presented with Pratibha Samman.
While addressing the celebration programme, Uttarakhand Mati Kala Board’s Shobharam Prajapati stressed the role of women in taking the society forward.
After the ceremony, people from the community took out a procession in which women, children and senior citizens participated in large numbers.
