The Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) honoured Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST) director general Durgesh Pant with the “Uttarakhand Gaurav Award 2025” at a ceremony held in Dehradun.
Pant was conferred with the award in recognition of his outstanding leadership in the fields of scientific research and innovation, his significant contributions towards advancing scientific and technological development in Uttarakhand, and his exemplary efforts in fostering a culture of scientific inquiry and research among the youth. The award was presented during the National Conference of the Public Relations Society of India, held from December 13 to 15, by PRSI national president Ajit Pathak and secretary general PLK Murthy, in the presence of Vidhan Sabha speaker Ritu Khanduri and former chief minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’.
