PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/ Haldwani
The MLA, Haldwani and senior Congress leader, Sumit Hridayesh demanded a high-level investigation into the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission exam paper leak incident while dubbing it as extremely serious. While speaking to reporters at his Haldwani residence, he said that privatisation of education is becoming India’s greatest curse.
He also targeted the Centre on GST reforms, saying that luxury cars have been made cheaper while the poor and middle class continue to bear the burden of GST on basic necessities like education.
Highlighting the failure of anti-cheating laws in the paper leak case, he asked the State government to fix responsibility. “It is urgent to get to the bottom of this paper leak case,” he added.
