At a meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind (Hazrat Maulana Arshad Madani) held at Jama Masjid, here on Thursday, the speakers expressed concern over the increasing trend of drug addiction among the youth and called for steps to address this dangerous trend. On this occasion, consensus was reached on giving priority to education, peace and brotherhood with special focus on youth.
A resolution was also taken to further strengthen the national and social welfare works of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind and cooperation between Muslim educational and social organisations. The district sadar maulana, Muqeem Qasmi chaired the meeting.
