The Nainital Bank observed its 100th foundation day with Covid protocols here on Saturday. After garlanding the photo of its founder GB Pant, the bank employees also planted saplings in the headquarters compound.
Speaking on the occasion, the bank’s chairman Dinesh Pant congratulated the people of Uttarakhand, nation and the bank’s customers, adding that they had all contributed to the success of the bank. He said that by October the customers will be provided all facilities provided by national banks for which work is already underway.
The bank has set a target to double its income in the next five years. Later, the chairman and other bank officials went to Pant park where they garlanded the statue of GB Pant.
