‘PM Modi personifies Swadeshi, Swadharma and Sanatan Dharma,’ says Baba Ramdev

While addressing a press conference in Delhi to mark the 75th birth anniversary of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev said that the PM embodied Swadeshi, Swadharma, Rashtradharma and Sanatan Dharma. “The vision of developed India is not just Modi’s but of 140 crore Indians,” he said, adding that his leadership and personality is drawing global reverence. On this occasion, he also announced a string of initiatives being taken by Patanjali at the national level. Further, he spoke at length of the role and contribution of Patanjali in building a self-reliant and developed India through the means of Swadeshi.
Baba Ramdev announced the institution of the Prime Minister’s Talent Award, stating that Patanjali would reward the students who stand first, second and third in CBSE, BSB and State Board exams in the districts of the country with sums from Rs 11,000 to 51,000.
Besides, free medical check-up, yoga and health camps will be organised at 750 locations across India. Free medicine distribution and treatment camps for chronic liver disease, fatty liver and liver cirrhosis will be organised at more than 750 locations across the country. “Today, crores of people in the country are suffering from heart and liver diseases. Patanjali has cured thousands of such patients with yoga, Ayurveda, healthy daily routine and research and evidence- based medicines,” Baba Ramdev said.
He also lent his full weight behind the Swadeshi campaign meant to make India an economic superpower. “We will carry out a robust campaign across the country, taking it to every village and every house, propagating self-reliance to make India an economic powerhouse,” he averred.
