In a programme held at Punjab National Bank’s divisional office, Dehradun, the divisional head, Abhinandan Singh handed over a claim check of Rs 2 lakh to a deceased’s sister and nominee Sonam under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana’ (PMSBY).
On this occasion, Singh highlighted the importance of the scheme and explained how this policy provides great financial support to the affected family in times of crisis after the untimely demise of a member.
He also appealed to the people to join this social security scheme. “PNB stands firmly with them in their hour of crisis,” he added.
