In response to requests from students and principals of affiliated colleges, and in the broader interest of the students, HNB Garhwal University has extended the last date for registration on the Samarth Portal for undergraduate courses to July 30. Consequently, the admission registration process for students who wish to enroll in UG courses at DAV PG College has also been extended to July 30.
The media in-charge and professor at DAV PG College, Prashant Singh stated that earlier the admission registration for students interested in UG programmes—including BA, BSc, BCom, BSc IT and LLB for the first year at the DAV PG College—began on July 19 and was originally scheduled to end on July 27. However, following the recent notification from HNB Garhwal University, the registration period for UG courses at affiliated colleges, including DAV PG College, has been extended to July 30. He encouraged students who have not yet registered to do so now.
To ensure that their applications are considered for admission based on their CUET-UG 2025 scores, students should select DAV PG College, Dehradun, on the Samarth Portal. After registration, the college will release a merit list based on the applications received via the portal. Eligible candidates will be granted admission by the college’s admission committee after the verification of their original certificates, Singh added.
He further informed that a total of 4,115 seats have been reserved at DAV PG College this year. Out of the total 4,115 seats available, the distribution is as follows: 1,475 seats are reserved for the BA programme, 1,200 for BCom, and 500 for the BSc programme in the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics group. Additionally, 430 seats are allocated for the Chemistry, Botany and Zoology group (BSc programme), 210 seats for the Physics, Mathematics and Statistics group (BSc program) and 300 seats for LLB.
