Following auction, the old and worn- out items at the Government BD Pandey Hospital were removed. Stating this, the principal medical superintendent, Dr Tarun Kumar Tamta said that the recently held auction had fetched the hospital Rs 4, 90,000. “The auctioned items included old and damaged beds, trolleys and long-abandoned machines. Their removal was necessary as these were occupying space,” he added.
