The three day national convention of the Public Relation Society of India (PRSI) concluded in Dehradun on Monday. Addressing the valedictory session, Cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal said that the current age is of artificial intelligence (AI) and modern technology and in such a scenario it is necessary to make the young generation more skilled and capable. He opined that by providing employment opportunities at local level and necessary skills to the youth, the menace of migration can be curbed. This will also help in reverse migration.
Uniyal said that the youngsters are the biggest strength of the country and linking them with technology, they should be made partners in nation building.
Raipur MLA, Umesh Sharma Kau said that public relations will play an important role in making of Viksit Bharat. He said that the people standing on the last ladder of society will benefit from the government schemes only when information about them is made available to the general public. He said that in the last decade, India has emerged as a powerful nation and the opinion of the world towards the country has changed.
The director of Indian Oil Corporation, Alok Sharma informed about the innovation in the power sector. The national president of PRSI Ajit Pathak praised the Dehradun chapter for the successful organisation of the national convention. The president of Dehradun chapter Ravi Bijarnia said that PRSI is committed to provide positive and factual information to the general public.
