To improve the public access to hospital services, the Bageshwar district magistrate, Ashish Bhatgain inaugurated the Hello Health Helpline at the district hospital on Friday. The helpline can be reached at 9068520235 and will be operational from 8 PM to 8 AM daily. While availing this service, the people can obtain all relevant information about the district hospital from the comfort of their homes. Besides, it will help the family members of the patients admitted at the hospital inquire about their health status without visiting the hospital physically.
Following the launch, the DM conducted an inspection of the hospital, interacted with patients and reviewed the overall functioning of the State-run health facility.
To streamline the outpatient services, a token number system has also been introduced for the patients.
Among those present during the launch were the CMO, Dr Kumar Aditya Tiwari and CMS, District Hospital, Dr Tapan Sharma.
