BSP leader Paniyala joins BJP with many supporters

In view of the upcoming three-tier Panchayat elections, the ruling BJP is trying to consolidate its position in Haridwar district by inducting the leaders of other parties into its fold. On Wednesday senior leader of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Ravindra Singh Paniyala, and district president of Haridwar BSP Lokendra Chudiyala joined BJP with hundreds of their supporters. These leaders were given the membership of the party in the presence of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, president of Uttarakhand BJP Mahendra Bhatt, and Haridwar MP and former CM Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank in the State party office of BJP.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Dhami said that the organization of BJP is able to include everyone in its forward journey. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a special affinity for Uttarakhand. Dhami said that the BJP has governments at centre and in the State and now it would come into power in the three-tier Panchayat elections in Haridwar. He appealed to the party leaders to ensure the victory of party candidates in the Haridwar elections.

The President of Uttarakhand BJP Mahendra Bhatt said that the organization of the BJP is dedicated for the works of public welfare. He said that the family of the BJP is increasing with each passing day so there is a need for the party leaders and workers to work in coordination and harmony with one another.

 Haridwar MP and former CM Nishank said that the BJP in Haridwar would get strengthened by the inclusion of Paniyala and Chudiyala.
