UPES launches alumni nurturing programme NEST

UPES, a NAAC ‘A’ accredited multidisciplinary university has announced an ambitious alumni nurturing programme NEST. The objective of the programme is to provide a support eco system and resource base to the graduated student. The university has designed ‘NEST’ in a manner where the alumni can return for mentorship, entrepreneurship and lifetime placement support. Under NEST, UPES alumni can benefit in four distinct areas of skills, careers, incubation and higher education.
The Vice Chancellor, UPES, Sunil Rai said, “The introduction of NEST is to assure our students that UPES will always remain a safe haven for them and that we are always there to support and empower them.”
Explaining the objective of NEST, The chairman of HERS, UPES, Sharad Mehra, said, “I am happy to launch NEST, a special initiative for UPES alumni. The world is ever-changing and what is new today might not be relevant tomorrow. We want to create a space for our alumni where they can come back to up-skill and develop themselves, empowering them and ensuring their success through knowledge.”
