With the possibility of a large number of tourists thronging Haldwani and Kainchi Dham on April 14, 15 and 16 on holiday, route diversions have been done on Haldwani as well as Kainchi Dham Marg to avoid traffic snarls at various places. SSP Pankaj Bhatt said that the route diversion is being done so as to spare the passengers and tourists traffic pileup problem. Light vehicles coming from Almora to Haldwani would pass via Ramgarh/Bhowali/ Bhimtal to Haldwani. Similarly, light vehicles coming from Haldwani to Almora would pass via Bhimtal, Bhowali and Ramgarh. The light vehicles coming from Haldwani bound for Betalaghat and Ranikhet would reach Kainchi Dham via Bhowali trijunction. The light vehicles coming from Betalaghat and Ranikhet to Haldwani would travel from Kainchi Dham through Bhowali trijunction and Jeolikote.
