The 108 emergency ambulance service felicitated many women on the occasion of Mother’s Day on Sunday. Speaking at the programme organised on the occasion the general manager, projects, Anil Sharma said that the day reminds one about his or her responsibility towards mother.
He said that the objective of the state government and the company of serving pregnant women before and after childbirth is being fulfilled by the Khushiyon Ki Sawari service (KKS), the 102 service. Sharma said that in the last three years 1,57,475 women were served with the help of KKS. In the year 2021-22, the KKS served 49,903 women. Similarly 1,02,944 women were served by the KKS in the year 2022-23. Sudhir Bijwalwan, Deepesh Sharma, Mukesh Nautiyal, Komal Uniyal, Shankar Vishwanath and others were present on the occasion.
