Kurmanchal Nagar Sahkari Bank does Rs 3.6K crore business

The Kurmanchal Nagar Sahkari Bank Limited did a total business of Rs 3,609.95 crore in the previous financial year. It has also become the first cooperative bank in the state to provide internet banking service. This was stated in the 41st annual general meeting of the bank.

The bank chairman Vinay Sah said in the meeting that the bank had been able to reach its target in the previous financial year despite tough competition and difficult circumstances. After securing the permission of the Reserve Bank of India, the bank started internet banking service, which is a big achievement for it. Stating that the bank customers have started benefitting from this service, he said that the bank is consistently striving to provide modern digital banking services. The bank’s secretary Akshay Sah spoke about the future plans of the bank. Representatives of the bank’s branches in Bageshwar and Paltan Bazaar in Dehradun were felicitated for the branches being adjudged the best big and small branches respectively.
