In latest news from Uttarakhand, the
State tourism, irrigation and culture minister Satpal Maharaj launched a slew of development projects worth more than Rs 37 crore meant for Ekeshwar and Jaiharikhal development blocks in Pauri district.
He inaugurated the newly constructed building of the development block headquarters built at a cost of Rs 3.37 crore at Pankhet in Ekeshwar and a primary school under Ekeshwar development block built with an amount of Rs 52.31 lakh. Besides, he dedicated to the people a string of motor roads spread across the district.
The State government officers said that the minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones of a host of irrigation projects for the two development blocks of the district on the day.
