Citizens avail various benefits in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reached Dehradun railway station and Nehru Colony on Sunday. Dharampur MLA was the chief guest at the programme held at the railway station while Raipur MLA Umesh Sharma ‘Kau’ was the chief guest at the programme held in Nehru Colony. Visitors to these events learnt about various schemes of the Central and State governments in addition to visiting the camps set up by various departments.
Officials informed that in the free medical camp held in Raipur, about 150 people underwent health checks while 50 women were provided the benefit of Pradhanmantri Ujjwala Yojana. Fifty persons also submitted their applications under the Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana. Officials further stated that a number of citizens benefitted under different schemes during the programme held at the railway station. Aadhaar cards were made for 21 people while kits were provided to 100 people under the child development project. About 200 people underwent health checks in the health camp organised on the occasion. Free cooking gas connections were also provided to 35 women under the Ujjwala scheme.
