Rambhadracharya fine after surgery at AIIMS Delhi

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the heart valve replacement surgery on the eminent spiritual leader and Sanskrit scholar Rambhadracharya was successful, claimed the doctors at the AIIMS Delhi where he had been admitted on facing severe breathing unease. They further said that the surgery which had taken four hours had been conducted under the supervision of two senior doctors of the facility. Post-surgery, the spiritual leader was now fine and his condition was stable, they said and added that given the steady improvement in his condition, he might be discharged from the facility in a day or two.
Notably, Rambhadracharya who had become blind when he was two months of age is proficient in as many as 22 languages and has written over 100 books. He is the founder and lifetime chancellor of Tulsi Peeth and Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Handicapped University in Chitrakoot in Karnataka. He was bestowed with the second- highest civilian award Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India in 2015.
