The chief electoral officer BVRC Purushottam along with the returning officer of Tehri parliamentary constituency and Dehradun district magistrate Sonika conducted an onsite inspection at Maharana Pratap Sports College in Raipur to take stock of election preparations ahead of polling day on April 19. The CEO inspected facilitation centres and took stock of election preparations ahead of polling parties leaving for polling booths on Thursday. Besides this, he also inspected various stalls including the EVM training centre and the vote facilitation centre. The CEO also interacted with the personnel engaged in polling duty and encouraged them to work with dedication and team spirit to conduct safe voting in the State. He said that he has instructed officials concerned in all districts to take special care of all personnel deployed on polling duty to ensure they do not face unnecessary trouble in any way.
