Microsoft 365 apps and services accesses remained affected across the world despite the technology company having claimed that the problem had been fixed and things were improving. Consequently, Microsoft users, including banks and airlines, suffered widespread outages, affecting their routine work. The company has not, however, made things clear as to the cause, exact nature and scale of the outage.
While the website DownDectector which tracks user-reported internet outages, kept recording growing outages in services at Visa, ADT security and Amazon and airlines, including American Airlines and Delta the news outlets in Australia reported that normal works at airlines, telecommunications providers, banks and media broadcasters were being disrupted due to the system crashes.
