Bank of India celebrated its 119th foundation day on Saturday with the launch of various products. The bank’s Dehradun zonal manager Vivek Tiwari and deputy zonal manager Bijay Kumar Sharma inaugurated a cultural programme on the occasion. Tiwari informed that new products like BoI Star Samriddhi Home Loan, MSME Thala, BoI Merchant Portal, CBDCR BoI e-Rupi, RuPay Bharat Credit Card, Visa Signature Credit Card, Master World Debit Card and others were launched by the bank to mark the foundation day. The bank also inaugurated 38 new branches across the nation on the occasion. Bank of India, Dehradun zone also felicitated senior and centenarian customers of all branches in the State. Such senior customers who were not able to come to the branch were honoured by the bank at their home.
A sapling plantation was also organised to contribute towards environmental conservation.
