The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) hosted the zonal round of the RBI90 Quiz in Chandigarh as part of the ongoing celebrations commemorating 90 years of its establishment. This event witnessed participation from undergraduate students across colleges in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, New Delhi, Haryana/ UT Chandigarh, Punjab and UT Jammu and Kashmir, showcasing their general knowledge and that also of banking, finance, and the rich history of India’s central bank among other things.
The RBI90 Quiz was designed to engage young minds about India’s financial ecosystem. The organisers further said that the highlight of the event was the interaction between the participants and the quizmaster, making the competition both educational and entertaining. The winning team from IIT, Roorkee secured its place in the National Round of the quiz to be held on December 6 in Mumbai.
