In latest news from Uttarakhand, Uttarkashi was jolted again on Friday morning as another earthquake struck at 9.29 AM measured on the Richter scale at 2.07. This is the ninth tremor felt in a span of just six days. The last one was felt on Thursday at 7. 31 PM. The epicenter of Friday’s earthquake is said to be the Saru Tal in Barkot tehsil. The panicky people rushed out of their houses, shops and offices in Uttarkashi town once the tremor was felt . The people are still scared though no loss of life and property was reported in the continuing spell of tremors.
