A Chemistry student of DSB campus, Kumaun University, Nainital, Divya Mahar has been awarded the CSIR Senior Research Fellowship (SRF). Under this fellowship, she will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 42,000 and house rent allowance (HRA) for a period of 24 months for her research efforts.
Currently, Divya is pursuing PhD under the guidance of the assistant professor, Chemistry, Mahesh Chandra Arya of the university.
Divya expressed her gratitude to KU vice- chancellor, Prof Diwan Singh Rawat for his encouragement and support for quality research. The Chemistry fraternity of the university congratulated Divya on her achievement.
