Mauritius PM and wife reach Uttarakhand for four-day stay

The Prime Minister of Mauritius Navinchandra Ramgoolam and his wife Veena Ramgoolam arrived on a peronsal visit at a high-end hotel in Narendranagar area of Tehri district on Friday afternoon.
Tehri district magistrate Nitika Khadelwal, senior superintendent of police Ayush Agrawal and other officials received the dignitaries in the district.Ramgoolam is on an eight-day visit to India and is to spend the first four days of his tour in Uttarakhand. According to official sources, he may visit Rishikesh and Haridwar too during this stay in Utttarakhand.
The Ramgoolams were welcomed at the five-star hotel by members of a womens’ self help group after which the hotel staff offered them a garland of Tulsi leaves. Earlier, they reached Dehradun airport at 2 PM and then were driven to Narendranagar via Rishikesh.
