The director of Nainital Zoo, Akash Gangwar and deputy director, Swati inaugurated the birth anniversary observance of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri and Wildlife Week-2025. Floral tributes were paid to these great leaders and later,
the animal keepers working for the zoo spoke of behaviour, food preference and cleanliness among others being found in wild animals. The biologist, Anuj Kandpal conducted the programme.
