The district administration would give priority to the home stay proposals under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Home Stay Scheme from applicants whose buildings are built in the traditional hill style or have submitted plans for construction in this format. Stating this, the district magistrate, Prashant Arya said that the main objective of this initiative is to promote rural environments, nature and local architecture.
Besides, he directed the bankers to take concrete action towards improving the loan-deposit ratio and emphasis should be laid on linking more and more farmers with Kisan Credit Card, so that they can avail the benefits of agricultural assistance schemes, including the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme.
