According to the police, the boy’s father had lodged a missing person complaint at Kotwali Police Station. Based on his complaint, the police registered a case of kidnapping under Section 137(2) of the BNS and began an investigation.
Officials said that the complaint was received on November 10, 2025. After registering the FIR, teams were formed to trace the child. The boy’s family originally belongs to Bihar and police teams also conducted searches there, but no leads were found.
