Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami performed Kanya Pujan at his residence on the occasion of Ram Navami on Thursday. He offered food to little girls according to traditional customs and received their blessings.
In a message on the day, the CM wished the people of the State on the occasion of Ram Navami. Terming Lord Shri Ram as the most dignified and revered man, the CM said that the entire life of Shri Ram inspires us to follow the path of truth and righteousness with devotion to duty. He said that the festival of Ram Navami further strengthens our faith in dignity, ideals and moral values. Dhami said that Kanya Pujan is an important part of our rich cultural tradition, which gives the message of women’s respect and social harmony.
