The Pushkar Singh Dhami cabinet expressed grief on the deaths of former chief minister major general (retd) BC Khanduri and famous shooter Jaspal Rana in its meeting on Thursday. The ministers and the officers present in the meeting observed a silence of two minutes as a mark of respect for the departed souls.
CM Dhami said that former CM Khanduri gave an important contribution in the development of the State and providing good governance. He said that Jaspal Rana will always be remembered for his performances.
The cabinet also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home minister Amit Shah for ensuring an understanding between different States involved in the construction of the ambitious Kishau Multipurpose Dam project.
