The managing director of Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) Prakash Chand Dhyani reviewed the power situation in Vikasnagar, Sahaspur, Dakpathar, Dhakrani and Kulhal areas on Friday while conducting an on-site inspection of these areas. He gathered inputs about the power supply, distribution system and consumer services in the area from the UPCL officials at a meeting held during the visit.
The MD instructed the officials to further improve the power system and promptly resolve consumer problems.
During the meeting, the officials briefed the MD on various issues related to the region’s power distribution system. Discussions were also held regarding the region’s growing power needs and providing better services to consumers.
“UPCL is continuously working to expand and strengthen the power distribution system in the region. The aim is to provide consumers with a better and uninterrupted power supply,” he said and added that the officials should regularly monitor the power lines, transformers and distribution network and also to resolve the complaints of consumers on priority basis.
