Tributes were paid to the first chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and recipient of Bharat Ratna Govind Ballabh Pant on his 139th birth anniversary at Urja Bhawan on Thursday.
Addressing the officers and employees, the managing director of UPCL, PC Dhyani said that Pant’s entire life was dedicated to serving the nation and society. His ideals, dedication, honesty and devotion to public welfare remain a source of inspiration for all of us even today. Dhyani called upon officers and employees to imbibe Pant’s ideals and discharge their duties with devotion. In the programme, the officers and employees present took a pledge to contribute to the progress of the State and the nation by following the ideals and principles of Govind Ballabh Pant.
