Says govt focussing on simplification, solution and quick disposal of public issues

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the provisions of industrial policy are being simplified for the industrial development of the state. He was speaking after inaugurating the mega self employment camp at women ITI college here on Tuesday. He said that self employment is a good mode of economic development as a person can give employment to many by starting a business.

He expressed hope that many people would be motivated to start their own business. Dhami added that the state government is committed to increase the employment and self employment opportunities. He claimed that the process to fill the vacant posts in different departments is being expedited. The CM said that focus on simplification, solution and disposal is being made for the public problems. Dhami said that for the fast disposal of public grievances the officers have been asked to hold public hearings daily for two hours. He said that self employment camps are being organised in all the districts of the state and all the departments and the bankers have been asked to set up stalls in these camps.

The industries minister Ganesh Joshi said that many schemes to promote self employment are being operated in the state. He informed that loans worth Rs 113 Crores have so far been disbursed under the Mukhyamantri Self Employment scheme in the state and more than 10,000 people have been associated with self employment.

In the camp the CM Dhami visited different stalls and distributed loans to the beneficiaries.

Rajpur Road MLA Khajan Das, district magistrate (DM) of Dehradun, R Rajesh Kumar and other officers were present in the programme.
