Vir Das bags his next international project, to star in ‘Country Eastern’

Vir Das will soon be seen in an American comedy series ‘Country Eastern’. This will be a brand new show for FOX. The comedian will not only star in the series but also co-write and executive produce the show with Sam Laybourne with the latter also being the showrunner. The series is about a wealthy man from India who moves to America to restart his life with his family. There, he decides to pursue his passion for singing and becomes a country music singer. The only issue is that he is bad at singing.

Vir Das will also be seen in a Hollywood film titled ‘The Bubble’ directed by Judd Apatow.
