Even as various parts of the state are experiencing chilly weather, the state meteorological department has issued a warning regarding the possibility of cold wave conditions at isolated places in the state on Saturday. Frost is also likely to occur at isolated places in the state while dry weather is likely to prevail in the districts on Friday.
The provisional state capital Dehradun is likely to experience mainly clear skies with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be around 20 degrees Celsius and three degrees Celsius respectively.
Meanwhile, on Friday the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at various places were 19.2 degrees Celsius and 5.2 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 20.8 degrees Celsius and four degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 7.5 degrees Celsius and 0.2 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 11 degrees Celsius and 1.4 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
