29 new Covid-19 cases in U’khand on Tuesday

The state health department reported 29 new patients of Covid-19 in Uttarakhand on Tuesday. Death of no patient was reported by the department on the day in the state. Seven districts of the state reported no case of the disease and the active case count has now dropped to 328.
The authorities also declared 53 patients cured from the disease on Tuesday. The department has so far detected 91,866 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year till date. A total of 88,058 patients have recovered from the disease so far in this year while 271 patients have died in the state since January 1 this year. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 95.85 per cent on Tuesday. The positivity rate of the disease was reported at 0.54 per cent on the day. The health department reported 15 new patients from Dehradun, six from Haridwar, three from Almora, two each from Pauri and Udham Singh Nagar and one from Tehri on Tuesday.
No patients were found in the Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat, Nainital, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi districts on the day.
The active case count of Covid-19 in the state is now at 328. Dehradun with 105 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Haridwar has 33 active cases of the disease. Tehri and Bageshwar are at the bottom of the table with only three active cases each of the disease. In the ongoing vaccination drive 7255 people were vaccinated in 643 sessions in the state held on Tuesday.
