Coming 5 years to be golden period for U’khand- Dhami

The writers and intelligentsia provide direction to the society and are brand ambassadors of the state. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the coming five years will be a golden period for Uttarakhand from the developmental point of view. Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said this while attending a session at the conclusion of the Dehradun Literature Festival on Sunday. “With the support of everyone, we will develop Uttarakhand into a leading State and build its identity in the tourism sector. As the youth are the builders of the nation’s future, our attempt is also to connect them with our traditions,” said Dhami.
He said that PM Modi’s special affection for Uttarakhand is known to all. Under his guidance, the coming five years will be a golden period for Uttarakhand from a developmental point of view. Dhami said that work on the Dehradun-Delhi expressway is progressing at a swift pace and will be completed soon. This will shorten the distance between Delhi and Dehradun to two and a half hours by road. Central Board of Film Certification chief, noted writer and poet Prasoon Joshi and film producer-director Ali Abbas also expressed their views on the occasion. Popular singer Sonu Nigam also made a presentation in the session.
