PM Modi architect of modern India, say Dhami

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can be called the architect of modern India considering the dedicated manner in which he is serving the nation. Dhami said this while participating in a discussion on the book ‘Modi @ 20:Dreams Meet Delivery’ in the Mukhya Sevak Sadan at the chief minister’s residence here on Sunday. The book is based on PM Modi’s 20 years of political life and has pieces by experts in various fields.
Speaking on the occasion, Dhami said that after Modi became the Prime Minister, a new work culture has developed in the nation. The nation’s prestige, standing and honour have increased considerably in the world today, he said. “Work is being executed under PM Modi’s leadership considering the interests of all the sections of society and to bring the last person in society into the mainstream. The nation is progressing swiftly in all sectors under PM Modi’s leadership. During the Covid-19 pandemic, a major campaign was undertaken to vaccinate the citizens wherein more than 192 crore doses of the vaccine were administered. In line with the ancient culture of Bharat, the nation provided more than 20 crore Covid vaccine doses to other nations in need. It is under PM Modi’s leadership that the world’s biggest health scheme- Ayushman Bharat Yojana was launched. Apart from this the nation is also progressing swiftly towards becoming digital,” said the chief minister. He opined that the manner in which Modi is serving the nation with dedication, he could be referred to as the architect of modern India.
Doon University vice chancellor Surekha Dangwal and former director of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Sanjeev Chopra reviewed the book on the occasion. Pradeep Kumar who contributed a piece for this book also expressed his views in the event.
Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, MLAs Vinod Chamoli, Umesh Sharma ‘Kau’, Savita Kapoor, Khajan Das, Brij Bhushan Gairola, Dehradun mayor Sunil Uniyal ‘Gama’ and others were also present on the occasion.
