The UJVN Limited has claimed that its power plants have generated more electricity than their targets in the month of July. The managing director (MD) of the UJVN Limited, Sandeep Singhal said that many projects have generated more than their monthly targets in the month of July, 2022. Giving project wise generation figures, Singhal said that the 240 MW Chhibro power plant located on Tons river of Yamuna valley generated 118.471 MU electricity against its target of 110 MU in July this year.
Similarly 120 MW Khodari project which had a target of 52 MU, generated 55.282 MU and 30 MW Kulhal hydro power plant generated 19.01 MU of electricity that is more than its target of 18 MU. Singhal added that the 120 MW Vyasi power project had a target of 48 MU in July but its generation was 65.871 MU in the month. He said that other power projects of the corporation also generated more than target power production in the month of July.
Expressing happiness on this achievement of the power plants, Singhal attributed the success to better maintenance, operation and excellent work culture.
