The chief development officer and the administrator of the District Cooperative Bank, Udham Singh Nagar, Divesh Shashani, while reviewing the computerisation of 35 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) in the district for e-PACS, sounded dissatisfied with the slow progress of the work. He mentioned that out of the 35 committees in the district, work has been completed just in five committees: Gangapur, Bajpur II, Banna Kheda, Fauji Colony and Fauji Matkota. Further, work in North Sitarganj, South Sitarganj, South Kashipur, Jaspur Fikhapar and Jaspur FSS is in the final stages, he said and directed that these committees be made e-PACS soon.
Also, he gave directives for completing the work of making all PACS e-PACS by December 15.
