PNB hands over cheque of Rs 1 Cr for relief works in Dharali

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has come forward for the help for the disaster affected families of Dharali and Harsil of Uttarkashi district. The Bank has contributed a sum of Rs one crore for disaster relief works in Dharali and Harsil.

A delegation of PNB met chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his residence on Saturday and handed over a cheque for the disaster relief works in Dharali and Harsil. 

Expressing gratitude to the PNB for its contribution, the CM said that it will help in providing immediate relief and rehabilitation of the disaster affected families.

He said that the manner in which social organisations and institutions have come forward for extending help during this hour of need shows their sensitivity and accountability towards the society.

 CM said that rescue operation is in full swing in Dharali area and every possible help is being provided to the affected families.

Additional secretary Manmohan Mainali, general manager of the PNB Anupam, assistant general manager Ajit Kumar Upadhyaya and chief manager Survesh Kumar were present on the occasion.
