As part of Durga Puja and Sharadiya Navratri celebration at Shri Venkateshwara University, ‘Dandiya and Garba-2025’ was held with the enthusiastic participation of the students and staff members. On this occasion, the chairman of Venkateshwara group of institutions, Sudhir Giri said that aside from being a religious and cultural festival, Navratri epitomises women empowerment and victory of good over evil. “Mother power has been revered in India for centuries and it will remain so for eternity,” he added.
Echoing the view, the pro-chancellor of Shri Venkateshwara University, Rajeev Tyagi said that cosmic creation is inconceivable without the mother power.
The vice-chancellor Krishna Kant Dave and registrar Piyush Kumar Pandey also addressed the Navratri gathering.
