4-day bird and biodiversity survey begins in Nainital

 Under the direction of divisional forest officer and director, Zoological Park of Nainital Forest Division, Akash Gangwar, a four-day bird and biodiversity survey is being organised for the third time from Thursday in Naina Devi Himalayan Bird Conservation Reserve under Nainital Forest Division.  

On this occasion, 34 bird watchers from nine states- Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh among others- are participating. On this occasion, the founder of Oriental Trail, Amit Sanklya gave information related to bird and biodiversity surveys. The 34 bird watchers from different states have been divided into eight groups and they will conduct bird and biodiversity surveys in Himalayan Botanical Garden, Naina Devi Himalayan Bird Conservation Reserve, Nainital Bhawali and Maheshkhan under Nainital Forest Division.
