A team of students of Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University has secured fourth place in the National Entrepreneurship Challenge (NEC) organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT Mumbai. Following this achievement, the team paid a courtesy visit to the University’s Vice Chancellor, Shriprakash Singh on Wednesday.
The VC congratulated the team on this significant national achievement and commended the students’ hard work, innovative thinking and entrepreneurial potential. He stated that such achievements not only boost students’ self-confidence but also strengthen the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the university.
Chief student advisor of the university, MM Semwal also congratulated the students, emphasizing discipline, dedication, and persistent effort as the foundations of success. Team leader Suraj Kumar explained that teamwork played a key role in this success.
