GBPUAT cadets finish sixth at all-India Vayu Sainik Camp

Cadets of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology– representing Uttarakhand under the UK Air Squadron, Pantnagar- secured the sixth rank in the All India Vayu Sainik Camp held at Bengaluru Air Force Station from September 18 to 29. This performance is a significant improvement over last year’s 14th rank, the university officials said.

The flying officer, Ajit Pratap Singh, who is also the associate NCC officer and professor of Soil Science, attributed this achievement to the constant support and motivation of the university’s vice-chancellor, Manmohan Singh Chauhan. The dean, Student Welfare, A S Jina, congratulated all the cadets and the officers accompanying them.
