Hindi is the identity of Indian civilisation and culture: CM

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that Hindi is not just a language but is also the identity of our civilisation and culture. He said that Hindi is also the basis of the unity and integrity of the country.
Greeting people of the State on the eve of the Hindi Diwas, the CM said that Hindi is a symbol of our cultural sentiments, aspirations and ideals.
Terming Hindi as the soul of India, the CM said that it has united our society and enriched our civilisation. Hindi has given India and Indians a special place on the world stage.
“Hindi is not only a medium of communication for us but is also a symbol of our identity, culture and Indianness. Hindi is full of spontaneity, simplicity and power and has a wonderful capacity for coordination,’’ he said. The CM added that Hindi has also played an important role in bringing awareness in the society. The CM said that during the freedom struggle, Hindi became the language of struggle and played an important role in binding the countrymen together. Hindi is one of the most popular languages not only in India but in the world and it also acts as a bridge between Indians.
